1. System Overview
This project features an advanced, fully integrated system that combines vacuum conveying technology with precision weighing and dosing control. Designed for automated and dust-free material handling, the system ensures accurate batching for various industrial processes.
2. System Components & Workflow
The core of the system is a weighing-enabled vacuum feeder. It extracts material from the source and transfers it into a sealed vacuum hopper, completing the conveying stage. The hopper is integrated with a high-accuracy weighing system and discharges material via a metering screw.
Operation is managed by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Operators set the target weight for each batch on the PLC interface. Upon initiation, the system automatically discharges material from the vacuum hopper into a downstream buffer or process hopper. The integrated weigh module continuously monitors the discharged weight in real-time.
3. Control & Automation
When the discharged weight reaches the pre-set target, the PLC instantly stops the metering screw, concluding the dosing phase. The system then automatically prepares for and initiates the next conveying cycle from the source, creating a continuous, closed-loop operation without manual intervention.
